Security Fee

We are committed to ensuring the safety and security of all members within our community. In response to the rise in anti-Semitic incidents, we are implementing additional security measures to protect our members and uphold our values of inclusivity and solidarity. Your safety is our priority, and by joining us, you are not only becoming a part of our community but also contributing to its resilience and strength against hatred and bigotry. Together, we stand united against all forms of discrimination, fostering a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. The Board of Trustees has mandated this crucial $200 fee.

Community Enhancement Opportunities

Kiddush Luncheon Fund: Our Community Kiddush luncheon following Shabbat morning services is one of the best parts of Anshe Emet. People gather to celebrate, share stories, laugh, and meet new people. With a Community Kiddush, we build connections that create a strong, vibrant community. Please consider a contribution to the Kiddush Luncheon fund to help foster this sense of connection and unity.

Anshe Emet Sisterhood Membership: As our logo proudly states, Sisterhood “Bridges Generations, Creates Community and Enriches Lives.”  Our array of educational, religious, spiritual, and social programs all aim to meet the needs of our over 140 members that may not be addressed elsewhere in the synagogue.

Anshe Emet Men's Club Membership:  The Award-Winning Men’s Club at Anshe Emet Synagogue strives to promote meaningful connections. We offer diverse programming and opportunities for our members to deepen their Judaism, to build relationships, and to serve our synagogue and community.

Friends of Jewish Theological Seminary: The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) has played a pivotal role in shaping the leadership and scholarship of Conservative Judaism. A gift to JTS supports the education of future rabbis, cantors, and Jewish educators who will serve and inspire communities like ours for generations to come.

Voluntary Dues
At Anshe Emet, we believe that everyone should have access to membership, regardless of their financial situation. Your donation enables us to uphold this principle, ensuring that all who wish to join can do so without barriers. Together, let's build a more inclusive and vibrant community where everyone has the opportunity to participate and thrive.

Sustaining Fund and Tree of Life Contribution

As you renew, we hope you will consider a meaningful contribution to the Sustaining Fund, our annual fundraising campaign. Membership dues cover only 40% of Anshe Emet’s annual operations budget. Your gift helps support our exceptional Clergy and dedicated Staff, sustain innovative programming, and ensure that membership remains open to all, regardless of financial means.
No one will be denied membership due to financial circumstances. Please contact Hannah Jarvis (hjarvis@ansheemet.org | 773.868.5143) to make financial arrangements.
