8th Grade Lakeview Series

This year we are offering two 8th grade series throughout the 2025-26 school year. All Jewish 8th graders are invited to join for one or both unique 4 week series.

During the first series, we learned about the different denominations of Judaism. The group will traveled to Temple Sholom, Anshe Emet, and Anshe Sholom B'Nai Israel to learn about reform, conservative and orthodox Judaism.

During our second series, we will dive into learning about Israel. We will welcome a guest educator from the iCenter who will utilize the Pulse of Israel Curriculum. The sessions occur on four Sunday's lasting from 9:30-11AM at either Anshe Emet Synagogue or Temple Sholom.

Please note, if you would like to register multiple teens, you will need to submit the form multiple times.

Series 1 Dates | 9:30-11AM: 
November 2 at Temple Sholom, November 9 at Anshe Emet, & November 16 at Anshe Sholom B'Nai Israel

Series 2 Dates | 9:30-11AM: 
January 11 & January 25 at Temple Sholom
February 1 & February 8 at Anshe Emet Synagogue

I understand that the events in which my child is participating may be photographed or video recorded by either amateur or professional photographers. The photographs taken may be used, in print or in electronic form on the internet, for purposes of reporting on the event, promoting future events or for such other use as the Anshe Emet Synagogue may determine. I have no objection to these pictures being used at any time for promotional use by the Anshe Emet Synagogue.
I understand that teens will be coming and going to and from different locations for this series - Anshe Emet Synagogue, Temple Sholom, and Anshe Sholom.
