Join Natan Hason for a new type of adult education class over 4 sessions spread out once a month through March.  Following Mincha on Shabbat, he will lead a discussion entitled:  A Ruthless Criticism of Everything Halakhic.   The dates are:  Dec 23,  Jan 27, Feb 24 & March 23. 

Class Description: We are members of a "halakhic movement" as Conservative Jews, but what does that mean? Halakhic discourse has been at the heart of debates within our movement and others regarding gender and obligation, sexuality, marriage and divorce, and so many other issues that intersect with core areas of our identities and lives. Over four sessions we will explore together what this thing called "halakha" really is and if it is even possible to talk about a "halakhic system" at all.
